![]() before you flame, i searched, oh man did i search.
I have been looking on every forum i know of and it seems there is a lot of information for this swap for the s13 but not so much for the s14? here is what i have gathered so far, please tell me what is right and what is wrong. custom mounts are required, but the r32 crossmember will bolt up with no trouble. the r32 driveshaft bolts up to the KA diff. and the stock LSD will also work fine. the hood needs to have some of the skeleton removed to fit. The rb32 radiator will fit with no trouble. can anyone confirm any of this and tell me what is right and wrong out of it? also please mention if there is anything else that would need to be custom fabbed that i didnt mention / know about? also, havent been able to find out anything on if the shifter will line up with the hole correctly? i know it does for s13 but i dont know how different the measurments are between the chassises to tell if it would also line up with the s14. last but not least does anyone have access to an english rb20 manual? or wiring diagrams? or anything related to the wiring? was able to find out how to do it for s13, but once again couldnt find anything for s14. Thanks everyone! please dont tell me to search or i will shoot myself in the face ![]() |

I know you can use the Cefiro/Laurel engine mounts for the S13 but I have no idea about the S14, sorry if that doesn't help, hehe.

if you can do a s14 ka into an s13 with no problems. and a redtop sr into a s14, then why can't everything be the same for the rb20 into the s14 as well as the s13. that makes sense to me

there's more to performance than displacement.
a two-liter six will spool a turbo faster than a two-liter four- three exhaust pulses per revolution instead of two- there's probably more to it than that, and i am not an engineer, but it seems pretty telling that the RB20DET used a T3 for its entire lifespan in the R31 and R32, while a T25 or T28 has always been "enough" for the SR20...
