Coilover spring noise at low speed

It only happens at very low speeds while turning. It appears that the spring is catching on the bottom retainer then releasing to make a sproing sproing sproing noise. The top nut is tight, just to rule that out.

So what else could it be?

Thanks
Jake

Are they stance? If so the tophats just plain suck. I went out and bought coilover thrust bearings to go on top of the spring, between it and the perch. Haven't driven the car with them on yet... should work tho.

I had to take a little bit of the top hat off, the I.D. of the bearing is just a little smaller than the top hat.
