wheel removal problem

at the local junkyard there is a set of nice lookin enkei rims like the ones below. only problem is that they look like they been bolted to the car for years, the enkei crome caps wont unscrew and the center caps are so old on worn you cant get an allen i there to pop them off.....what should i do? snap of the enkei cap and pull out a drill or what

go in the morning, spray a good amount of w40 on its nuts lol and leave it for atleast 15-20mins so the spray can work its magic.

oh, and instead of using an electric gun, use a long wrench, so theres more pressure applied to unbolt. that and w40 do the trick every time.

i like to use the PB Blaster stuff for old bolts. I personally feel that it works a bit better than WD-40. but thats just me. other than that man it up!!

only problem is there is two stages to get to the lugs, first the silver enkei cover which i will probably have to obliterate to reveal the two tiny allens holding the center cap on, then i have to manpower the lugs which arent my problem, just dont wanna damage the center caps

+1 for PB blaster penetrator... if nothing that can melt in the area, afterwards you can put a small torch to it.

For the Enkei Caps try using one of those cheap oil filter wrenches that just have a rubber strap at the end. It will give you some leverage and wont mess up the cap if you are careful.

oor you can do it like with some rotors.

drill a hole on each side then take 2 long screws and screw them in and keep screwing. it should pop it out theoretically

If it rally isn't, just unbolt the entire spindle and take it all with you, worry about disassembly when you get home and have proper tools and electric/propane access.
