I searched 4 times for this topic....still not positive on my answer

Can Zenki(95-96) tailights replace Kouki (97-98) tails?

So are s14 tailights and garnish interchangeable?

yes, they are interchangeable.

i like the kouki ones best
actually the kouki rear on a zenki face

cuz i'm thinking about putting the Zenki's on my '98 then getting that cover over the tailights and garnish.....go to www.silviaparts.com if you don't know what i'm talking about

but if i do that, then a paintjob will have to be done!

i agree with anubis9228. zenki look best, hehe. i love the zenki taillights. they just look so much sleeker than kouki ones. kouki ain't bad, but zenki are just better looking imo.

Yes more to the zenki lovers. I love the tails and the headlights.

kouki headlight look nice and all but not on a zenki.

i like my zenki rear lights..i like to keep things original..the way things are..becuz a car is know for wat it looked like in the begining...not from wat its been changed into..:P

I'm saying get kouki tails, or go back to zenki front.

Easiest way to explain is Zenki headlights and tails are a little more plain and smooth and flow good stock.

Kouki heads and tails are a bit more sharp and new school (sh*tty adjectives

).

If it were my car I would have never done the conversion, but you must like the kouki front, so get kouki tails flows better.

If I went back to the Zenki look after my accident...MY DAD would have pocketed the rest of the money and I would not see one penny of it. I only did the conversion because it was a one time deal where I can actually use the insurance money towards something nice and not get rejected on the thought (from my dad a.k.a title owner). Kouki tails are expensive no matter where I go to find them. I rather do what anubis9228 did to his car.....now if only he can explain how he did it.

i don't wanna sound like an *** or anything, but you still could've had the zenki look and NOT have your dad pocket the money, hehe. cf hood, european clear glass headlights, nice aftermarket bumper, hid's. that's a good 2000 bucks right there

kouki front with zenki tails isn't too bad imo. i just love the zenki tails. front's just whatever, haha.

trust me....you don't know my dad like I do

If I got the Zenki front end...that would be it. The rest of the money goes into his pocket. He made sure that every single penny he gave to me would go to fixing the car. I even asked him for just $400 on shocks....guess what??.....he said he didn't have any money....

basically he wanted to keep the rest of the money and not share any towards "mods". It took ALOT of convincing(sp?) to even change my front end.

Anywho...how can I make my taillights like that?

edit: btw...KiDyNomiTe you do have a good point there and I might get Kouki tails.

dang that sucks man. oh wellz. at least you got to do something to your car

i would think that anubis painted the center panel. since he's good with paint, it shouldn't be too hard for him. just my thoughts.
