Need help choosing

Ok I'm in the market for a anti lag/rev limiter. I've been researching the rush racing anti lag and the bee-r rev limiter and they both have great reviews. So with that I'm undecided and I'm trying to get you guys input.

isnt an anti lag system different from a rev limiter? Like rally cars use an anti lag set up and if you dont have the proper turbo you will blow yours in no time. Am i right? I know someone was selling a wrc turbo and it was ceramic to hold up to the anti lag.

Well I wanted to try the anti lag as I want to try to build my rb25 240sx into a low 12 to high 11 second car. So I want to try building the boost for a good launch.

antilag is a tuning term used to create an extremely rich condition at the point of a shift. extra fuel is poured into the exhaust manifold and is ignited in the manifold from the extreme heat. this explosion then keeps the turbo spooled between shifts, hence anti-lag.

what a bee-r rev limited does, is launch control. anti-lag just off the line, but not "true" anti-lag.

Well which would you recommend both are the same price and does the bee-r build boost like the rush racing anti lag launch control

negative on the ceramic turbo. IIR the stock rb26 turbos had ceramic wheels but they were scrapped on the N1 model for metal due to shattering around 1 bar.

ah didnt know anything about those. the turbo I was talking about was a toyota ct26, The guy worked for a wrc team and was able to get one, he said it was very very unlikely to get another, he was selling it for like 2500.

I would think the bee r builds boost, wouldnt any 2 step?? I know its a rev limiter but it has the second setting to be able to use it as a 2 step

i have a 2 toyota ct-26's...I had 3 but sold one off....they aren't that hard to get

Any rev limiter/launch control will build boost. Problem is you need to find one that will play with timing so it will only build a certain amount or it will just have full boost on launch and that will be tough to control. i've never used either of the products you are talking about, so i don't know their features.

btw a low 12 or high 11 second car will not be that hard to build. I ran 12.3 @ 118 with my mild KA-T with no launch control or drag radials, spinning to a 2.05- 60' ft time. You should have no problem with a lightly modded RB25

I am just wanting to build up to 9psi and I heard both units are great for this but I'm thinking the bee r as you can control the amount of flames and pop and every 500rpm range

The RB25 has enough low end, you don't need a launch control, just get a good pair of slick. By the way you do know launch control will kill your precious turbo right?
