i don't know the answer, but I wanna ask: how do you win a burnout contest? I've never been to one. Sounds like a waste of tires to me..

I guess you roast your tires until they pop...

Kindalike the DB drag racing speaker contests? No music, just a burrrrp and then you replace 30K worth of woofers..

From the ones I have seen it seems to be the first person to royally screw thier car. I have seen people blow engines and the crowd goes wild. The vids are up somewhere online, just can't remember where.

RWD owns when it comes to burnouts, but AWD is even better Just thinking of that skyline doing awd donuts/burnout.

i went to nopi back in 99 here in GA and an old F-100 won the burnout competition, i think it mainly goes on who produces the most smoke with their tires and the winner gets a new set of Nitto's, since they sponsered it, but i dont know what the hell an F-100 would do with those....

ive been to one, they time the burnouts, longest wins. i noticed the trucks usually go longer, but if u got linelock i guess it just depends how much tread u got and keep ur rpms down...kinda dumb...although i thought it was kinda funny ewhen an s10 on nitrous blew his motor

simple... he gets them in sizes for his project car and gets cheap wal-mart tires for the beater truck

Yes awd burnouts look crazy, but i hear its murder on the center differential. Have you ever seen an awd drift where the car nearly drifts backwards? Crazy stuff!

Ya I have seen the awd drifting, crazy stuff, even better in GT3, awd drifting is too easy in that game though, but looks cool in replays

Yeah, i can tear it up with the subaru wrx gc8 in drifting. Lately ive been getting good with the s13 fastback though; much harder to drift than the awd like you said.
