Ok, guys seriously I want some advice from fellow members of zilvia.net

By tomorrow afternoon I need to have a color picked out for my car to be painted. My options so far are:

Lexus IS300 Gunmetal Gray

350Z Super Black

I am open to other options and if you guys have pictures i would greatly appreciated it.

realistically speaking... i'd say the IS gunmetal...

as for me... primer grey.. haha
i'm all go no show...

dents: don't care
holes: duct tape and primer
whatever...

Hey..i was relieved to hear that you were okay with the fuel hose rupture. Thank god nothing happened...if your battery cables were loose or anything (okay let's not go there).

I am personally going to paint my 240 Steel Gray-it's a Dodge color for the old generation of Vipers, and the color was phased out in 2000.

Oh yeah! Can you tell me what body shop is doing your repaint for you?

I need to get my car painted, as well. I was planning on taking it to H&H in Oakland, for about $2400. Do you think you can ask them how much an exterior color change would be for a friend? =P

seriously if i was pushing lets say 400-500hp without a doubt i would rock the yashido factory pink. until then i need something a little less extreme. The only problem i have is that i am looking for a color that will look good on the 95-96 240's. I can't make up my mind and need to call them by this afternoon. AAAARRRGG!!

go for a midnight blue w/ some metallic fleck. some light sparkle

keep it on the low down but in the bright sun w/ the sparkle will be really really nice and stand out

depends how good a shop this place is..

i just picked up a gallon of TV2 Bayside blue off an r34 GTR Skyline. It's an amazing color.

Go with gunmetal, or whatever color the nismo r32 has (I assume its an oem r32 color)

But that color looks nice, then paint your corners orange

well thanks for all the great input guys, i went with the gunmetal. My car was orginally that deep purple. I used to have a gunmetal s13 coupe which i loved. guess i just want another gunmetal 240. thanks again for all the input guys.

aeontony email me and i'll get you all the info on the place that i am getting my car painted at. They are doing 8 coats of paint, and are doing the door jams, under the hood, and trunk for 1600. so we will see how good it turns out.
