I only get 1 or 2 inches of vacuum at throttle. The aiv hose has a ton more vacuum. the egr only needs 1 or 3 inches vacuum to lift on my car.
trying to figure out why my egr valve is not lifting when i roar engine. my egr lifting abiltiy has slowly weakened until now i fail smog. Im thinking the exhaust hose going to bpt is clogged? i applied 30 inches of vacuum to egr solenoid and egr still did not lift.

not sure what kind of motor your running but at idle my sr20 reads -20 psi

also its read in negative psi not just inches for vacuum

it must depend on where you measure.
