RB20DET alternator swap

Hello Zilvia. Just recently tha alternator on my RB20 took a dump on me and every since I've been researching replacement alternators. I've heard that the KA24E alternator and the Nissan Quest alternators would fit. Can anyone verify this and explain how much modifying would be required? Also can I use the stock RB20 alternator brackets? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

direct bolt up I did this to mine when mine failed I mihgt have had to drill the one ring termial out but I cant remember.. other then that itll bolt up..

Oh yeah, the lower long bolt goes thru a sleeve on the oneside of the alternator and it protrudes into the gap where it slides over the peice from the block.. the peice is wider on the rb so that sleave will have to be knocked outward a bit.. youll know what I meen when you look at it...

Thanx bro. Did you have to use a different sized alternator belt or did the stock belt work out?
