the new sports compact car mag, and your thoughts on it

personally i am not happy about it and i know that nothing can be done about it. I think its only going to help the rise in prices and make it even more difficult to find a nice good condition 240sx as more and more people start going after 240's. on another note the car they do the swap on is ugly as hell. Also what the hell is up with this love that sports compact car has with our cars. this latest sports compact features there project car, the rbswap and then a page that describes each of the motors that we can swap into our cars.

I like reading about cars I like, so I'm happy that there showing more 240SX's. The more info out there the better. SCC probably likes the 240sx so much for the same reason other people like it. I dont read mags anymore anyway, I just dont have the time.

The price of 240sx's are likely not to rise, blue book is low for an s13, and not that high for an s14, Most people need loans to get a car financed and banks dont like financing more then blue book, so if people are trying to sell cars for prices higher then bluebook then they wont sell that well, unless you find cash buyers or people with decent down payments.

I wish more people would buy parts for the 240sx. That would only inspire companies to develope more performance products for the 240. The only thing that I dont want to see made are those ugly *** euro tail lights

I dont mind all the hype, you can always tell the real enthusiasts from the ricers, so Its all good. Ill always like CRX's even though honda's are supposedly played out, you just gotta keep it real, and dont open your trap unless you know what you are talking about. Thats my pet peeve, when some kid says he wants that new cold air intake, so he can run 16's in the 1/4 instead of 17's, like I actually give rats butt. Well anyway thats my .02

Now that I have the magazine, Its all good, more info for me. And yes our cars are the new trend. Mainly due to a lot of us, we made it popular, not some magazine. They just feed off of what is hot. And drifting is hot because so many do it, or talk about doing it. And so many do SR/RB/CA swaps.

So if anyone is to blame, blame yourself for liking the car so much, and doing so much.

And the whole Convention also brought loads of attention to our cars, its all in good fun, so I will keep getting these mags, afterall they take good pics
