Okay i been searching google trying to find someone with the same problem but no luck,i got a 92 240sx se model hatch and my drivers side window jus recently stoped working(passenger still works).My fuses and relays are good,i also tryed swapping out the window switch but nothing,i hear a clicking noise from a black box behind door panel.The window will come down sometimes but will not come back up.If anyone could help i would greatly apreciate it. Thanks

window motor might not be getting the power it needs if you say clicking but if your sure the is enough power circulating in there than replace the motor. A used one you can get for 15 bucks thats what i would do

yeah am trying to avoid replacing it lol but somedays it will work for about 3 or 4 times then will stop so i know the regulator is still good,i was thinking there might be a wire short but i didnt see any behind the door panel?

change out the black box. It should fix it. It does go bad and I have had to replace them before. They are not expensive to get used.

yeah ima try an find one at a junkyard an see if it fixes it

replace the amp (black box)
99.9% of the time it will solve the problem.
there is a relay in there that fails.

also may want to check out the cable on the window regulator that pulls the window up and down on the track, mine was all messed up and it wouldn't let my my window roll up or down and sometimes it would work, so thats what you might want to check out

EDIT: the cable may be frayed.
