been doin research for a few weeks, keep seeing some goods and some bads about complanies, Im gonna buy a s14 blacktop, I saw lots of problems with jdm-online, havent seeen much on J-spec auto sports (JSA motors), heard some good things about sr20store but called 4 times with no answer (not a good start) if there is a thread somewhere on here that i could not find post the link.

well i called up to zerolift, real friendly, honest said they can provide compression test video and uncut harness, ive called about 10 shops now, this one is the closest so if i have any trouble ide actually be able to drive there, got quoted at $2200 shipped

Basically any way you look at it, U are rolling the dice on these sites. Most that I know of have more bad reviews than good........So If it were me, I would have a good amount of money saved...just in case I got a bad motor...and the company didnt want to cooperate.......Just sayin

This is true. Good bunch of guys over there. I was just there yesterday and they have some very clean inventory! Would be my number one recommendation, especially since they are one of the main importers for the US.

just buy from a place that will have a money back startup guarantee within 30 days or something. have the place show you pictures of compression and possibly even under the valve cover. This is if u can't see the motor in person.

i'd recommend JEI

i just bought one from robert at zerolift...purchased it tuesday...came in yesterday...great people to deal with...they provide the compression numbers on the motors when u recieve them. plus robert is great to deal with.

Up garage in seattle area great people and killer engines,got mine from there perfect compression and got to see it run before I bought it.Might be a little far but they ship and doug is a great guy.
