What to do about old fuel?

I just about have my swap completed. The problem is I never did take care of the old fuel in the tank. I had a little over 1/4 tank, and it was premium when I filled it. The problem is this was 4+ years ago when I last drove the 240. The KA has been out it for awhile, so I wasn't able to run it down any lower than it is.

Could I top it off with fresh premium, or should I drop the tank, and empty out what is left?
