sr20 idle problem

I have a s13 with a black top sr20. My setup is pretty much stock, t25, 370cc inectors, fmic, walbro FP, ect. The problem is if i am driving and push in the clutch my idle drops down and usually cuts off. The problem gets progressively worse as the engine warms up. when it is trying to die i can hit the gas and hover it around 1,500-2,000 rpm for a lil and most of the time i get it to chill and idle by its self..

Also once warm it will back-fire every so often. I do not have any loss in power, and my ic piping is all tight. I am not sure if this is connected to the idle problem.

Someone has suggested my a/f ratio is off. Im in the process of getting an a/f gauge and possibly a safc? anyone have any other things i should check out?

Yeah ive already switched the maf out.. if i were to change/check the TPS and air idle control vavle thing is there a way to tell if they are bad? or do i just have to replace them?

No worries. No you don't need to take your intake mani off. Just use a philips screwdriver to adjuste the screw.

honestly get a wide band and find out what your afrs are. Fixing all these so said fuel problems when u dont even know ur afrs isnt gonna get u anywhere. Any body can just throw money and parts at a car but knowledge is what will fix your car. Please save your self alot of time and money and dont just start replacing parts that you "think" are bad.

Now to check your TPS. While full on throttle the tps transmits a 5 volts to the ecu. Remember no sensor sends more then a 5V signal to ur ecu and your stock O2 sensor transmits no more then 1V. Get a good multi meter and start checking things and adjust them as needed. Please dont be a parts thrower as youll never learn how vehicles properly operate. I promise all im trying to do is help you out dont take any of this as a bash.

check the gap on the plugs... stock setup... I'd probably go with .022-.025 of gap.
