I think Ace has it on an S14...

JDM rice or Richard Tang has that exhaust. He has a show 240 drift car. Iv'e seen him at several shows, such as the international auto salon, and rsr drift shows. I love that exhaust, it look awsome. It costs a bunch though and is hard to find. If I didn't already have Apexi, Id'e get it in a heart beat.

it's only loud on a non-turbo car, in which case you might as well not have an exhaust.

I always ask, and no one responds...how is it compared to the Apexi N1 duals? Is it just a boit louder or a lot louder than those. I'd consider them about the limit of tolerable on an NA 240. It's loud, but at least it's deep and sounds good.

seen and heard both prefer the DD over the N1 duals. DD has better build quality as well.

The DD is absolute sickness.

I have one on my NA s14, and with the silencers in its really quiet. Without the silencers, its so loud that it makes my head vibrate. They look great on s13 and 14s.

The only thing I can compare it to is an Apexi N1 w/silencer on a KA. The DD is more quiet than the N1.

was jdmrice's wastegate plumbed into the downpipe or just venting freely?? pretty much the main reason my car is so much quieter than my friend's KAt is because of the 2.5" downpipe (compared to his 3") and his wastegate opening up and spewing exhaust gas and noise freely.

My car without the silencers out is quiter than my friend's sentra (SR20DE) with a HotShot header, high flow cat, and Strummon catback exhaust with an additional large resonator.

Don't even think about it if you're not turbo'd.
If you are, they're not too loud until it's broken in, where upon the volume goes up by 50% or so (that's a lot btw). I DID do a review on them in the reviews section.....

I've heard the N1 duals, their volume is nothing by comparison IMO, they're much quieter with silencers in, however my butt dyno says I lost like 20hp with them in, as well as it makes the car feel like it's bogging in the low RPMs, not good.

Bottom line: don't get them... I like the fact that I'm one of the only s13's around with them hehee
