My car / first update

Whattup everyone? I bought my 240sx EIGHT months ago and I havent driven it since the day i bought it. Finally got all the parts i need and i have begun puttin my car together and i figured i'd let everyone know what im doing!

Five lug conversion with Z32 brakes- Just painted the calipers today looks pretty damn good.

Got new rear rotors, had the stock Z32 resurfaced.

Got new pads front and rear Axxis Metal Masters.

Stainless Steel Brake lines.

Z32 TT Wheels freshly recoated with silver duplicolor wheel coating.

S14 SE Leather seats.

Painting Various interior pieces (dash, panels) black with vinyl paint.

S15 Front end conversion courtesy of Speed Alliance (with vertex front bumper )

Nismo (copy) sides and rear.

That's all I can think of, there is definately more... but anyways..
I did a few things today, but tomorrow (sunday) is when ill attempt to do the hub/brake swap.

I slapped on my S15 carbon fiber hood today (only thing on so far) and it slipped on pretty easily but i've heard of people saying that i have to relocate the hinges? I used the stock hinges (didn't move them) and just latched it up and screwed it in at the hinges. Any thoughts?

Im going to try to put the fenders/bumper/lights tomorrow and the rest of the body parts... so wish me luck

Thanks guys! I did drive my car two or three times after i bought it, but it was jus moving it or going around the block.. whatev

I fitted a fender on today. The install went pretty smooth. The fenders I got from Speed Alliance are top notch. I was going to put the other one on but theres two rusted screws where the stock fender was on the bottom and then it started to rain so im going to hold off till tomorrow to get back to it.

This is fun ****!

After i get the front/sides/rear on im gonna do the brake/hub swap.

I need to buy a disposable camera to snap some pics. Actually imma go do that right now! muwahahaha

Thanks again

Oh crap, I never said what kind of 240sx I had... I have a 95 S14.

I used Hi Temp 1200 degree paint. I chose aluminum cause the cap looks kind of close to what mine looked like already, but They came out really shiny kinda like the polished look.

My engine plans are either SR or RB in a few months when i get more $$$

Thanks!

Thanks everyone!

The Install has been going sooooo smoothly, I love it!

The fenders went on like a glove, the hood fit perfectly (didn't have to move hinges or anything) the headlights fit perfectly only thing i had to do is cut two softball sized holes in the radiater support.

The Vertex bumper is a dream to work with. I gave it a test fit tonight and it went on like a glove too! Only thing is I have to cut two pieces off of the front bumper support thing (whatever its called) on each side so the bumper fits in better.

I haven't attempted the brake/hub swap yet...

Tomorrow I will chop off the pieces from the bumper support, put the bumper on and headlights, throw the side skirts on and i gotta pull a dent from the rear quarter panel... Fun day

Thanks again... and by the way... any color ideas? Im thinking either BMW M3 Red, Infiniti G35 Red, G35 Silver, or 350Z silver (are they the same?)
