Unhappy Need serious ka24de rebuild help!!!!

ok i blew my 91 s13's ka dohc when i was running my friend...

so ima rebuild it but i wanna make more power that stock when my ka was running i only had 3in catback and cold air intake....

ok so i wanna get higher compression so i read this forum in a different web site that with the sohc ka pistons on dohc ka compression increases
compression of dohc: 9.5:1 and 89 sohc pistons on dohc compression is 11.1:1 and 90 sohc pistons dohc compression is 11.6:1 but heres my real question could i run this high with stock value train or do i have too upgrade so i could handle the pressure with stock value train i also want too run it with 300cc injector with top feed fuel and n60 mafs and maybe bigger throttle body and i already know that i got too tune my ecu....

so im f**ken stuck on this one cuz i want too run it with out any probs

pleaze help me!!!!

heres the link too the forum about the compression with sohc pistons SFL240SX.com • View topic - KA24E pistons and KA24DE pistons Pictures

you should be cool with the piston head set up and injectors and a good tune no need for for a bigger throttle body or maf the stock ones are good up to about 500 horse or more i would look into possibly strengthening the bottom end the ka's have a tendency to come apart at high rpm sounds like a sick build good luck

I have helped build 2 such setups. one was a stock rebuild with the SOHC piston change, the other one same bottom end with ALOTA head work and running nistune.

"stock" felt like it had more giddy-up, but after dyno testing results were almost factory spec of 155hp, so it basically returned the motor to stock form (that was with dual exhaust and CAI), but took off the line great

the other modified one showed even less impressive results on the dyno, but after some work got to about 160hp IIRC. it had insane topend but lacked in lower rpm's.

if you wanna find out more pm me and i'll get you in contact with him. hes local (carson, ca)

however both no longer exist, one was hydrolocked thanks to a cold-air-extension, the other exploded on the track at autoclub speedway

I thought stock compression on the sohc and dohc was 8.5:1 and the early 89 sohc with high comp was only at about 9.1:1?
