first 240sx!!!!
I finally purchased a 1990 nissan 240sx in actually decent condition and all stock and its a 5 speed. I heard i could swap out fan with an electric fan from a ford taurus and i can put in rx7 fuel injectors. Is this true and does any one have any tips to boost up my car. Oh and im not a poser im actually going to get this car into drift comps when im finished working on it.

First off... you claim to not be a poser, and the first thing you mention is a Taurus Fan and Rx7 injectors. Is there something wrong with your stock cooling fan and shroud? You know... the one that cools better than pretty much any electric fan? What is wrong with your current fuel injectors? Are they clogged? Lastly, drifting doesn't mean you won't be a poser. Drifting isn't like Tokyo Drift my dude. There's actually smoke, and you get thrown around your car like a ragdoll. My advice: Change your spark plugs and wires, get yourself a differential, and go to a track, or empty parking lot where you KNOW there are no people, and no cops. You can do plenty with a diff and the single cam, if you practice enough. Welcome to Zilvia.

yeah if its your first 240 dont go out and turbo it right away. get used to how they feel. my daily is a single slammer and i love it. ive done some events with my single cam and did just fine. nothing amazing but fun none the less.
and yes the SEARCH button is your friend

people under esimate stock ka's..
i have a 100% stock dohc+stock vlsd+coils...and it plenty of fun at the track you dont need power.. just seat time... also if you have a ka and your not gona boost it....just change the oil...theres no point in putting money into it, itll run just fine with good power for a long time spend the money on suspension+tires+trackfees welcomz |
