Upon finding the longblock i had purchased was a series 1 when it was actually a series 2 and have one question i need to sort out.

Do series 1 and series 2 rb25s share the same VCT solonoid or is there a difference? I failed to find an answer so far.

None of my plugs for the series 2 wire harness seem to fit the VCT plug.

I may be wrong but I think the VCT solenoid just needs a 12V signal to operate

If so then you can just change the plugs
