imma start a little project on my Z. This is how i want to cut, bend and weld to lower the stock seat rail. for better CG.

Please throw some advices and thoughts on design(?). Also, what metal for reinforcement in the welding area and how it should be set..
i never attempted a new project that people haven't done especially something that requires fabrication. I have no idea how welding works..
help me go through this safely and cheaply
If you could recommend me a place where i can get them fabbed from beginning to end or just welding part

buy my rail for $40 before you mess up yours and cant use it anymore lol
