S13 SR20DET Greddy intake manifold throttle cable bracket?
Im just wondering what everyone else with this manifold has done to make the throttle cable mount up to it. I saw in the instructions of the Greddy install manual it shows pictures of the throttle pulley. It says that all you have to do is put an S14 SR throttle pulley on the S13 throttle body and that will allow you to use the stock throttle cable bracket.
Anyone have any experience with that? Is that in fact all that you have to do or is there more to it that they arent showing/left out of pictures but put in japanese. |

Wow cool thanks alot guys, I just ordered a top speed s14 sr throttle pulley, since the OEM is out of stock EVERYWHERE with no ETA! =(
Another thing im trying to figure out is how to extend my positive battery cable 6 inches. The pic STR8E180 posted reminded me i have to still figure that out haha. That is a sexy setup, where is your pcv line going? And is everything just vacuumed to the intake after being ran through catch cans? |

my pcv line goes to the catch can and then the there is a line coming of my catch can to the air box
i dont have them returning into the intake pipe because i dont want oil going into the compressor housing, intercooler piping, plenum, cylinder head intake ports ![]() ![]() ![]() |

STR8 - If you have a catch tank system run properly, and are completely capturing the oil vapor, then you should never have oil in your intake.
This is what I did. Make sure to weld the backs of your screws on the throttle body hinge so they don't get sucked in when your hinge breaks. ![]() ![]()

True this. There should no reason to be getting oil in your intake if your catch can is setup properly and there is no way for the liquid to drain to the intake.

We need to make a thread of "Properly set up catch cans" seriously. My idea of a properly set up catch can is basicall a baffled sealed catch can between the valve cover and intake..
Also i would be leaving the PCV hooked up to the intake manifold with no can between them since the pcv is supposed to be closed under boost. |
