You didn't know? s13 fastbacks are ford probes and s13 coupes are preludes?

HAHA.....leave em be. They are trying to make up for something by "trying" to talk trash....not only do they have Ford's, but one's w/ eeeity bittty potential. I'd rather have a Fox body.....

i like that they have no clue what drifting is or what the fundamentals are or where it originated or etc etc etc...

with the current trends i think we should embrace and enjoy our anonimity for as long as it lasts..

They remind me of a couple of guys I met playing the initial d game the other day. They sat there for hours playing and kept trying to convince me not to drive the s15 silvia, and use the integra instead. I'm thinkin wtf?, but let them be happy how they are. If they really wanted to know all about it, they would do some research.

if it's so easy, why aren't you winning all the prize money yet?

I think drag racing is :gay: and would rather watch road racing but to say that it takes no knowledge or skill to set those cars up and get them to do what they do well is rather ignorant.

I mean, I don't like nascar, and I think its kinda dumb to make 900 left turns, but I wouldn't say that it's requires no skill. Likewise with drag gracing.

I do like the nascar of the import world analogy though.

Bottom line is this...those who drift, cannot tell you how to drift in a few web words...those that do drift, enjoy it and as experience builds, learns speed. Those who don't know bvut pose...don't need to know because they will end up maiming themselves, property, other people and material.

Drifting should be off road only.

Drifting should be done with folks that take the time to know the danger. Drifting is expensive. Drifting is a sport that does not come easy.

Hondas should never drift...but drag. They have the wrong weight dostribution for safety.

Nuff said.

I have to disagree with that statement. The NSX can be set up to be a bad *** drift car.

How many wannabee ricers you know have an NSX?

BTW, I drove one, and they do need to be set up, they are very nose light and understeer terribly with that powerplant...so I still feel it is a strait line car. Not good on rally, unless totally modded.

Hard to be one with a car that is into slolom and strait line roots. More down the drag strip than slolom.

BTW, the one I drove was a stock 95.

A bone stock porsche with less horsepower will dominate it , stock for stock. You admitted it......a SET-UP NSX..

JA, agreed.

I actually know a few. Little rich kids who don't know jack about cars but got an NSX because of mommy and daddy. (BTW: If I ever get rich, haha, my kids are going to have to work for their money.)

Even w/ the 240, a stock 240 is not a good drift setup. Any true drift car will have to be set up to be drift specific. There is nothing magical that makes a certain car a better drift car. It's all in the set-up and tuning. (Plus driver skill.)

Honda also has the "Beat" which although tiny, could be set-up to run great road courses.

"Drifiting is solely done on RWD cars. Basically, you have absolutely no weight in the back of your car, and when a turn comes you cut the wheel so the back end kicks out and you "drift" around the turn."

this guy's got it all figured out. :hammer:
