What alt to use with decent size stereo

I have a 95 S14 SE that I am installing approx 2500 watts of power in to. Does anyone make a higher amp alt? I will be running the 6.5 components up front, modifying the rear deck to accept my Premier 6x9's and a 12" sub in the trunk. What would you guys suggest I run? I'm not a stereo guy so I am lost with this stuff.

Either find a shop to customize the stock alternator to provide more ampage or you can go with a Nissan Quest alternator. More ampage and can work on a KA or SR with minor modding. Stock produces 70 or 80 amps while the Quest alternator pumps out 110 amps IIRC.

Will the Quest alt bolt right in the stock location as my S14 alt?

It's 95% bolt on, you'll need to buy my kit, and dill out the lower hole to 3/8..then it's perfect! All electrical connectors hook up as OEM

That's awesome!!!! Can you pm me your link so I can bookmark it. This will definately help me out. I'm glad someone thought to do this. I was worried that my tiny 60amp alt would never keep up with the stereo and I really didn't want to put 2 batteries in the trunk. Do you guys think I should still install a second battery in the trunk and maybe a cap?
