![]() Obviously this is for RHD cars, but I was wondering if anyone has seen this style gauge pod for LHD? I'm out of room for gauges, I have my AC up and running, so I really don't wanna lose my center console vents... and I'd like to keep my pocket below my deck too. Any help locating something like this would be GREATLY appreciated! (I'm open to suggestions too)

japan has several styles of those that mount on the dash. i wonder when somebody will get one from japan and copy it and then produce it for LHD apliations.

There's alot of options for mounting gauges:
A-pillar(single and dual) Pods that mount to the dash Replacing vents next to steering column Angled glovebox Angled above glovebox and here's the most recent addition: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2430911024 I've seen this before, just not for sale Of coarse you could aslo go w/ alot of o`ther stuff other than gauges. HKS makes a monitor system that will plug into any Screen, so if you have or get an in dash screen you could potentially use that to display your engine vitalss when you need to see them. Of caoarse if you're gonna put that much cash on it you might as well get a full stack cluster.

Your best bet is probably going custom. Whether you glass one yourself or have someone do it it shouldn't be too expensive. As with everuything, it all depends how much you want to spend, my guess is not much since were talking about gauges here.

One of the new tuner mags has a silver blitz tuned 180sx (500+hp) that has a nice gauge setup. There are 3 gauges mounted IN the dashboard between the glovebox and the center console. You'd have to cut holes in your dash obviously, but this setup looks REALLY good....almost OEM-ish.
Anyone have this mag to scan the pic?? I think its the new SCC mag. -m |

- I already have a dual gauge a-pillar pod - replacing vents isn't an option - glovebox is too far to glance over at, plus is filled with tools :/ - my TT is over the steering column already, it's only half an inch tall and it blocks my clock and trip odo, I can't imagine having a gauge there, that'd suck. hence why I wanted to find something like the one in the image I posted, or drill into the dash... but that just scares me ![]() |

Hey yoshi, how about one like this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2432023326&category=33 710 It fits into the DIN size space under the radio. Plus they are slightly angled. |

As far as the din slot under the radio goes - lsauto.com sells the old hks panels for 46mm gauges, but I haven't found any one other than hks that makes gauges that small. When I got my autometer boost gauge I tried to put it in the box under the radio, but it didn't come close to fitting.
I don't want to jack your post, but does anyone have any info on how to make a panel that mounts in the cener hvac ducts? |
