anyone know anything about KKK K26's?
someone gave this thing to me. it was free.
it's a KKK K26. supposedly off an audi 5000.... supposedly comparable to a t3. also, supposedly will fit a t3 exhaust flange. can anyone confirm this? or tell me ANYTHING about this turbo? seems to be in great condition, minus having a bolt broken off inside it.. but i can drill that out. |

i know blitz uses that on in one of ther turbo kits..or is it a K27??
anyway..is that regular T3 or euro T3 flange??...i jus found out about those...so that too is a consideration seein as how it came off an audi oh...its a german turbo..common on VWs, Audis, and porsche..maybe mercedes..idk edit: yup jus checked its a K27 for an FD...if its an upgrade for an FD it must be decent and big...even though its a K26 it should be ok edit #2 http://splparts.com/Silvia/Turbo/TurboKit.asp <---there is a kit for an S14 using the K26 and the K27

Don't know anything about the turbo itself. However i do know they are VERY high quality turbos. Audi obviously uses them and so does Porsche.

hmmm... good to know. yeah, it's a k26, not 27. it was used on the 944 turbo... the 911's got the k27.
this is pretty sweet. yeah, it's pretty big. and this thing has VERY minimal shaftplay... all i need to do is drill out this bolt. |

i have a tial wastegate thats going to be on sale sometime this week... if you need it...PM me..

Sounds nice cdigity, build your engine and crank up the boost. I wanna see how much quicker you hit boost when running like 15lbs hehe. Yes these German turbos seem preeeetty interesting if I must say. I'm going to consider them when I go turbo (whenever that will be hehe).
