National 240sx Convention 2010 Official Info Page!

The dates are August 13, 14, and 15 2010 (Still happening in SoCal, Los Angeles Area).

For all of you out of towners, please get your jalopy fixed now so that way the caravan doesn't have to stop to fix your car Also, for those of you coming in from out of state, please let me know if you need assistance finding a hotel to stay at (if you do not have a place to crash here in SoCal already).


I need regional contacts for arranging the caravan. I know there are some people on other forums, or run other regional 240sx forums that have started preliminarily planning this. Please contact me regarding this.

We also still need a grapic designer. Someone to design the T-shirt/sticker and Logo. I know a lot of ppl pm'd me about this, please contact me again with a sample logo for the event. I have literally thousands of PMs about the event, but need you to put GRAPHIC DESIGN in the title and ATTACH a sample logo in the PM you send me.

good luck with that. i was the only one to drive from the east coast at the 02 convention. there were several people that took the easy route and flew out. i don't see there being as much of a crowd this time around as there was in 02.

reasons? the economy is in the shitter. most folks aren't going to want to spend over a grand on this trip (between gas, food, and lodging), they aren't going to want to drive 40 plus hours there and back, and the 240sx community has been taken over by a bunch of bandwagon drifter wannabe's not true nissan enthusiasts. the 240sx community has been chopped up to a bunch of local and regional divisions. prior to the 02 convention most enthusiasts knew each other from the old amarok email list. so even though the community was spread out across 3000 miles, people still knew each other from online. point being, back then members couldn't wait to meet each other in person. where as now, there are a bunch of "enthusiasts" in their own back yard. and their sentiment will be, "why drive all the way to california when i can meet people right here in my own back yard." (i've already seen this on our local forum.) and lastly, people have no sense of adventure anymore.

again, good luck. lol. i'd go again in a heartbeat, but i'm one of the 10% without solid employment. (i.e. part time.)

^ Frankie sounds to me like you're just mad at the world ... if it wasn't for the drifter community 240's would of never been as popular as they are right now, all the after market parts available for your car now would of never been made and thought of ... these "enthusiasts in their own back yard " that you speak of so badly are probably the baddest and coolest mfcken 240sx lovers you'll ever meet because their the ones who will build S chassie cars from the grounds up, take em all apart and learn em piece by piece, so please keep your negativity out of this thread cuz there is alot of people working very hard on this to happen ... I understand that this is just your opinion but i dont see why you gotto be bashing on the "240sx community " ....
