Timing adjustment for turbo ka24de

with a stock set up t3/t4 turbo 370cc injectors, and p60 maf, do you need to retard base timing from 20 degrees stock to something a little more retarded to prevent detonation? Mine runs good at 5 degrees but want to check

If you have a tune, don't screw with the timing. The tune should take care of that for you.

You can hear detonation...
if you don't have an ear for it, get a TurboXS knocklite

I am going to install the emance daughterboard tune....is that sufficient?
