Keyless entry doorlock help PLEASE!

Hey all

Im installing a new alarm on my car with keyless entry and Ive been at it all night. Its going fairly well although all Im stuck with to do is the door locks. Im wondering if anyone has ever done these before and can help. I have the factory wires exposed and I have the kick panels and everything off. I have the special relay needed to control the door lock system on my 93 240SX and I need to know if anyone knows what the hookups are to make...

1) Wheres the factory door lock relay, or is there one

any information helps please and thanks!

JP

PS If anyone has a radar perimiter sensor on their car and has any tips for its installation that would be great too (ie where to put i, etc)

I believe the door lock timer relay plugs in right near the ECU.

perimiter sensor

Ummm, take the perimiter sensor, go to the store you bought it at, return it for a glass break sensor, install that instead.

The reason I say this is most perimeter sensors that we install at my shop (CarToys) have issues. for example, when the weather changes the zone changes, when you park under sodium lighting (large parking lots) the zones change, if you eat a big mexican dinner the zones change... you get my point.

If you have a convertable, or a jeep then it is one of the few options for security that you have.
If you have a hardtop then put a glass break sensor on it (detects sounds of glass breaking, of metal on glass(slimjim) or even sometimes even if people try to flex the window it will set it off. then make sure that you roll up your windows when you leave your car.
I've just seen too many people comming back every other week to get the zones adjusted on the perimeter sensor.

on the door locks, ill check the alarm wiring info for the 93 when I get into work and post up an answer for ya.
