The bottom part of the short shifter is much longer than the stock SR shifter, it causes the shifter to hit higher than it normally would in the tranny. No bueno!

I had this same problem wt my ka everybody told me that it was good bt I couldn't make it fit!.. I ended up taking off the pivot point where the ball goes, n flipping it over. It sits a lil higher bt it works fine just a lil stiff at first!.

Hmm, maybe I'll try that. I tried to install the short shifter and when I put it back in the tranny, the shifter didn't even move and was hard as a rock.

Thanks for the input guys

I'll probably put it in a USPS flat rate box, I'll stop by the post office later today and see if there is a box that is big enough
