Question Tranny --> Engine, need help.

Hi guys, I just replaced my clutch with the ACT street kit, and also the pilot bushing that come with the kit on my SR. But Now I can't get the tranny in the engine, the shaft couldn't go in the pilot bushing. How did u guys do it? Is there any trick that will make it easier. I have spent 3+ hours trying to twist and spin the transmission, but no luck. Any information would be appreciated.

-Pat
P.S. the engine and transmission are out of the car.

maybe your pilot bushing isn't straight? it should go in though. you might have to loosen the motor mounts and pull the engine down. its kinda a hassle b/c the tranny tunnel is soo cramped. i had 2 ppl help me. my bro was pullin on the dump pipe to make the engine lower, whiel my friend was alignign the tranny into the pilot bushing hole, and i was aligning the rear of the tranny. it took a while and a lot of elbow grease but it went in..
