CA well i caved in....

and bought a ca18det. my friend hooked me up with a major deal that i could'nt pass up. 1k for everything and the motor only has 15k miles on it too. so my question is where do i go from here? what sitte do i get parts from. any info is greatly accepted.

um... first of how do you know your motor only has 15k miles on it? thats a rediculously low (and unbelievable) amount for a clip to have that is over 10 years old.
Second that you got it for 1k. Where? did it come with all the sensors, the tranny, the harness, and ecu?
cause those aren't easy to source and they are expensive. Ditto for intercooler piping, mafs, intercooler, and other accessories.

Anyway my first step would be to tear the head off and see what kind of shape this motor is in.
What kind of compression does it have? nico has a ca18det owners forum that is one of the more active ones, and all the european S13's had ca18dets so those guys have been at them for years, as has australia.
