E5 is from a 94-96 180sx black top 5 speed
E6 is from a 94-96 180sx blacktop automatic WC is from a 94-98 S14 Silvia 62 is from a 91-93 180sx or S13 Silvia 5 speed 61,63 is from a 91-93 180sx or S13 Silvia automatic J4 is from a 97-98 180sx Type X 5speed This info was found in about 2 seconds in the Engine Tech thread

Pretty much. When most people on here will say they are interchangeable, I would prefer to use match up parts, like E5 with "fat" o2, 62 with "skinny" o2, and SR maf with SR engine, unless tuned.
I have my own experience of how nicely an SR maf runs on the SR compare to the KAE maf. Yes, it would run, but just not as smooth and idles like crap. Changing the ECU is easier where as you need to get the little adapter for using the skinny o2 if you do not have one. |
