1. Is there a difference between evaporation and vaporization?
[Edit] Thanks bing. 2. Solid to gas is combustion, right? [Edit] Thanks LanceS13, misnomer. (Edited by Danio at 10:35 pm on Jan. 31, 2002) |

Evaporation is liquid to gas, vaporization is the tendency of liquids to suspend in gas (suckass wording, example though: water mist).
Combustion is simply a reaction with oxygen, Lance said sublimation, that is what you're looking for. |
