![]() Hey gents my names Steve im 20y.o. picked up a 240sx with 76k original miles on it and so begins the build thread.
Picked up the car midway through last month and it did not run, had no pass window, busted fuel pump, no battery and a few odds and ends to sort out. Zero rust on the car and apart from mentioned above this car is all untouched which is why i picked it up A few pics of the car (crappy cell shots my bad)- ![]() ![]() In the bay the guy who owned it before me had a PA speaker wired up and some subs in the rear lol After dropping in a new fuel pump, and an optima battery, then picking up a window (thanks robert from Zerolift), got it to fire right up and this is how it sits now. Still needs a few issues to sort out but the swap is coming soon anyways so I'm not that concerned with them. ![]() Hopefully going to rip out the single cam before the month is over and replace the steering rack bushings and put in some new motor and tranny mounts before I drop the new Sr in. Following that its going to get new brake set up and 5 lug swap too. Ive seen some mixed feelings on the ichiba set up so if any one has other quality options that they have opinions on let me know id greatly appreciate it!(Not going to be driving it everyday but street driven alot as well as drifted) Looking to do everything the right way with this car on everything im not into half assing it haha. Thanks for looking guys!

Just make sure you update with big news often and quickly. People may not consider this a build thread yet. Although you have big plans you have not done much already.
And good choice for paint but it doesnt look like it needs to be repainted yet. |

Build Threads Almost everyone enjoys building their cars and sharing that experience, as well as checking out others' builds for inspiration. Sadly, far too many users have a tendency to do half-hearted builds and either rarely update or update with trivial progress. In the interest of keeping the Chat forum clear of three hundred 'Install SR, ziptie aero, rattlecan paint' threads, incomplete, or in-progress build threads are not allowed. If you have completed your build, wrangle all those pictures into a post and tell us about it, but make sure the build is finalized. If you insist on having an in-progress build, Premium members have a specialized subforum for that specific purpose.
