Fiberglass and Electrical Qs

K cracked my after market bumper and trying to figure out what people have used to fix it. I havent dealt with fiberglass so Im clue-less to what I need to get. I know I need to use a resin and sand it down to even it out.

For the electrical part. My blinkers are acting up. It blinks really fast when I use the signal like I burnt a bulb up but when i used the emergency lights, it blinks normal. I checked all the bulbs and thats not the case. I was thinking wattage but then why the hell would the emergency blink normal?

Thanks

Hit up your local autoparts and get the Bondo fiberglass kit, it comes with everything you need to fix your bumper. I've fixed a couple of my fiberglass bumper this way, good luck.

bondo kit is expensive for what you get. but since you only need a little bit it should work fine.
I'd just use some matt or cloth, soaked in resin, applied behind the crack. then use body filler and apply it over the crack on the front, and sand it down.

anyway for your blinker, it sounds like your blinker relay thing is bad.
there are these little modules that have the blinker circuit in them... somewhere.

Thanks for the help...I fixed the crack and replace the flasher control and that seemed to do the trick.

I have the exact same problem. Just started a few days ago, I can't figure it out. I kinda assumed my alarm had something to do with it but havent had any time to play w/ it.
I am pretty sure there is only one flasher relay, so I don't think that could be the problem since the hazard blinks fine. Actually, I only have a problem w/ the right turn blinker. Lemme know if u find out what it is.
