if I had a choice to run any wheel/tire combo on my stock motor but not-so-stock suspension setup, it'd be the following:

16*8.5 +30 all 'round(I'd also run a 5mm spacer in the back to make effective offset +25)
If you don't have rolled fenders, then 16*8.5 +35.
Yokohama AVS ES100 205/55/16 on all 4 corners.

if you're making some more power, you might consider 17*9 +20 or so rear, +30 or so front with 225/40/17 tires. Don't forget your negative camber, or you'll never be able to tuck these wheels in.

If you're making stock power and don't like big wheels, 15*8 +20 is a good size, put some 205/60/15s on and you'll be ready to roll!

Es100's are good tires

FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!!

J/K but they arent better than the ones i listed. People use these for drifting mostly so that tells you that they are predictable, have good sidewalls, not too much traction but enough traction.
