tranny/clutch problems
Ok. Starting a few days ago, I've been noticing a faint popping noise coming from underneath my console. Sounded almost like my passenger seat was loose. However, the here lately, its getting worse. It does it when I'm @ idle stopped and also when I'm moving fairly slowly. The noise appears to be coming from my tranny tunnel and feels like the tranny is shifting. I checked all of my motor/tranny mounts, and everything is intact and tight. Wtf?
Also, when the clutch is at rest, isn't the slave cylinder suppose to be all the way in? When my car is in neutral and idling, I can feel some contact from the release fork. It feels a tad bit like the flywheel. Its not suppose to do that, is it? Any ideas? thanks jerome |
