how to make a door on a s13 close nicely?
My doors never close easily, I always find myself having to open and re-shut the doors a couple of times to get them to shut right.
I noticed on the one door jam, the previous owner had placed a bunch of rubber glue or something to help the door close. On the passengerside, that same area doesnt have anything. The driver door closes easier than the passengerside door- so I am guessing it has to do with the diameter of that axle so that the door has something to grab on to? |

Maybe you need to realign the door at the hinges or easier than that is to realign the striker (Where the door latches onto the door frame). Check out the FSM for the details.

lol thanks for the replys
I fixed it: it ended up being that the bushing on the striker plate was worn down- I just cut a piece of rubber hose and wrapped it around the axle and it works perfectly. |

Mine was like this and I had to change out the latch in the door. My latch had serious play and I swapped it with another door I had. Good as new
