Dash Kits

what is the difference between flat dash kits and molded dash kits? do these kind of dash kits replace the oem ones? or u just slap them on top of the oem plastic dash?

anyone got any recommendations for companies that make quality dash kits? maybe post up some pictures of your own interior...

flat dash kits are pretty much really thick stickers. they contour to the curves of your dash pieces, but doesn't usually fit as well as molded kits. molded kits are pre-curved to the contours of your dash, but beware of cheap companies, as many are found to not fit very well. both styles are usually applied with double side tape or pre-applied, heat-activated glue, on top of your OEM dash.

i personally dislike dash kits, since most of them cheapen the look of the interior. but then again... i drive an s13, can't get much cheaper looking than that...

hope that helps! by the way, i think this topic should be in the chat section.

They make good stuff as reviewed by NewCelica.org Members.

If they have one for your Model, they can be on the expensive side. But unlike some knockoff CF kits, if that’s your thing, there’s is real CF
