Enjuku Racing aims for the 550whp barrier!

In anticipation for the 2004 season, Enjuku Racing strapped down their ’92 240SX and headed to Secret Services in St. Petersburg, Florida for some record-setting dyno tuning. Still utilizing the stock bottom end, Enjuku Racing set their eyes on a prized number of 550whp, but just slightly came up short. After several hours of tuning and tweaking, Enjuku Racing is proud to say that they reached 544.2 whp with 412.6 ft/lbs of torque to boot.

We are planning to campaign this SR Powered 240SX across Florida for next year’s race season and hope that you all can come out and support Enjuku Racing and witness it yourselves. Currently we are building a new website dedicated to our race team and it’ll be up within a few days at www.teamenjuku.com, so keep your eyes out.

We would like to thank the community for their continued support and hope that our race program will inspire those building SR Powered 240’s. Keep in mind, we are still using stock bottom end! Many thanks to Scott at Secret Services for his vast tuning knowledge and helping us achieve our goals. Hope to see you all out at the track and feel free to stop by and say hello!

You can get a fairly detailed, updated list at This Page

As for the turbo, it's an SC61 from Precision Turbo and Engine. It consists of a 56 trim compressor wheel in a .60 a/r compressor, 76 trim turbine wheel in a .63 a/r turbine. Precision turbos are incredible. They have their own castings and wheels for a turbo built from scatch, even though all T3/T4s are knock offs of the original garrett. Unfortuneately, the turbo had more in it, but we maxxed out the profec-b. The WG spring is only 9 psi, so the Profec-B just couldn't squeeze more than about 26 psi out of it. The turbo should be efficient to 30 psi, but we figured we had given it a hard enough beating :hammer:

Does that turbo have ball bearings? I saw the website and it said "360 Race" for bearing system and didnt know if that was some sort of BB type.

thanks,
