i''m finishing up my swap of a redtop into a 91 coupe...the problem i'm having is that when i try to start the car, i lose all electrical power. however when i take out the plug for the CAS it doesn't do it. what could be causing this problem?

nevermind, i found the cause of the problem. after going over all the connections i found that i didn't have a ground connected to the motor. once i connected it, the motor fired right up.
