Ok so im finally getting around to installing/tuning with the nistune..

Little confused.. I have a redtop sr, using the e5 ecu.. Ecu is already chipped with a jim wolf tune. I wired my diag port in and works. I used a snap on scan tool to confirm. I put the nistune board in.. And it no longer communicates with the board... I was told that the board is marked for a ka motor. But the type 3 board is for sr's as well.

Since i am using the e5 ecu do i upload the file for the early s14 sr or do i use the s13 one? thanks for your help.

Try the nistune forum.

Boards may be identical in hardware but they also have imbedded software that is engine /ecu dependant, so maybe your problem is here.
