How did you mount your rear license plate with no bumper?

I wont be running a rear bumper but I will have a bash bar. How did you guys mount the license plate and keep it lit? I've been trying to find examples with not much luck. The only thing I can think besides some crazy custom fab'd bracket with led's is a trailer bracket with light. I should be able to splice into the factory lighting also right?

I did find this, which looks promising http://www.richfieldtrailer.com/prod...-bezelw-light/

If you don't need a rear bumper then you don't need a license plate as it should be a track car.

like so;

that's a temporary tag. up in Canada we get those to insure a car for no more than 3 days. That way you can insure your racecar to go on the roads. Im sure it is similar in the states. If it is a racecar, keep it off the streets. If you're streeting it, put the bumper back on. If you don't want the bumper get some of these:

Zip-tie it to the bash bar. It will look about as good as you can get driving around without your bumper.

Yea I know I can bolt it to the car or zip tie it, but it won't have a light which is illegal in my state. The cars going to have full tags and inspection

The OEM light mounts to the bumper. What exactly were your plans for lighting when you first decided that you didn't want to run a bumper and instead show off your super sweet bash bar?

Looks like ill make a bracket for the bash bar and bolt a universal light to it to keep it illuminated. Thanks for all the input and the pics. Then if I run a bumper or not, its there.
