I am having a odd steering problem , when i turn the wheel i dont get much response until 3/4 of the steering wheel being turned. im also getting heavy vibration while driving, im thinking the steering colluhm is stripping inside the steering rack ? also at one point my steering colluhm was rubbinh against my downpipe creating resistance on it .

any input helps !

your steering rack or ps pump is going bad check your ps fluid level.

Hey jeff do you think that it could have stripped inside ? or is that highly doubtable
