Jack points, rusted through

Hi!
I have tried to google it but I can't find an answer.

Where can I jack the car if my original jack points are rusted through and can't be used.
In the manual it says that the side member can't be used either.

Have anyone a suggestion?
Sub frame bearing?

The diff for the rear (or tow hook). Front I personally use the radiator support, but you can use the tow hooks again, or the frame the tow hooks attach to. Or the subframe if you can reach it.

wouldn't recommend rad support as its weak for that...front subframe or rear diff are strong enough...can do frame rail if you know how to safely spread the weight properly...

+1 for jack from the differential. I've always used the rear subframe to put jackstands under. In the front, if you can drive the car up on 2x4s, jack from the engine crossmember.

I usually use the tow hooks to get started, put wheels up on 2x4's, then jack from front subframe or rear diff.

I also have used the front support where the tension rod brackets bolts to. Just make sure to use a wide block of wood. I try to avoid this though.

+1 for diff and do avoid that radiator support bc it is weak and your risking that jack slipping into the radiator. I second the front subframe if you jack head is big or has the rubber grip so it doesn’t slip into your oil pan(yes I’ve seen someone do this) Who’s seen someone put jacks under cv axles? Btw op please don’t put jack stands under your axles I’m just curious who’s seen the aftermath bc it’s funny. If I had a picture of my S13 on the rack is circle the strong point for jack stands.

These are the only points I’ll use to jack my car up (or tow hooks, but my aero is in the way)

thats a terrible suggestion. radiator support = not doing it right

front = crossmember
rear = differential
side = frame rail (not seam weld)

I probably should have added that I got a S14a.
So if I use my diff for the jack, the widest part of the subframe is probably a good idea for my jack stands? Right where the bushings is at.

You could put jackstands onto the subframe bushings closest to where you have circled. For the front, the only safe spots I would say are the safety stand points outlined in the manual in your photo.

stopped using towhooks after one snapped on friends car...watched several people at drift events doin the axles...not a pretty drop either...
