sr20det oil pump rebuild

so im searching online where i can get the cheapest oil pump out there getting ready for my fully bottom end built, checked on thenismoshop.com they posted it for $194 + tax and shipping. i was like yes! then i checked frsports they sell them for $249. DAMN!

as i went through frsports page i found couple of parts that you can easily rebuild the sr20det oil pump.

Nissan OEM SR20DET S13 Oil Pump Rotor Gear and Ring

Nissan OEM SR20DET S13 Oil Pump Valve Set

Nissan Front Cover Oil Pump- Rear Hardware SR20DET

what do you guys think? i did search about it but i want to hear opinions from EXPERIENCED members. thanks

WANGAN yep what you found is correct. as long as the cover itself is not shity,or the motor ate metal. If its had debris in the oil, then yea trash it & buy complete assembly

Just FYI, if you change the whole assembly with the front cover you also need to have the block decked with the front cover installed
