S14 SR20DET: Will The Auto ECU and Harness Work
As the title states, I need to know if you can use an automatic ecu and harness on a manual s14 SR. The harness isn't a major concern as, from what I can see, the only difference is the 2 TPS plugs vs 1. If someone knows if/how I need to rewire that, that'd be awesome.
The most important question is wether or not the ECU will work. I know on KA's it works fine for the most part. I have searched but can't find anything definite online. I am asking as I am selling them and would like to make sure the buyer has all the correct information. Thanks guys!

you need to merge the KA harness and the SR20 harness. It doesnt matter if its automatic or manual just as long as its for your chassis

Update This might serve to help some people in the future, but I decided to throw the auto ecu into my car. I don't know why I didn't think to do it in the first place. It runs just fine and hasn't thrown any codes. Funny thing is my tach didn't work before and now it does, and the car actually pulls harder, so I'm pretty sure my other ecu was fucked. So the verdict: The automatic S14 SR20DET ecu will work on a manual setup. And to clarify, this is on a zenki sr, ecu code WC red. The auto ecu is WE red.
