SR SR20 question

Hi, this is my first post... I've been in the market looking for a 240sx. And looking into doing a SR20 swap for it. But looking at the motors they all seem to point at '91+. I see enough 89's and 90's but not going for them cause it might be difficult and labor intensive to install the SR in the older models. I just looking for some input on this. Thanks!

You do not need to mod anything except for moving the powersteering main hard line to the drivers side of the engine bay, you dont even need to cut it or anything. just bend it. and you will have to mod the connector on the wiring harness for the guages.,

And on ALL sr swaps you need to move the heater hoses on the motor to the other side. not just on the 89-90
