problems on installing hotshot header

I have asked a mechanic shop to install a hotshot header which I bought from enjuku on my 91 nissan 240sx (s13), but the mechanic told me that there s a clearance problem. Here is what he wrote:
there is a clearance problem with the air injection tube at the header.
the steering shaft hits the tube as the steering is turned, the only way to make clearance for the steering shaft is to relocate the air injection fitting to a different location and reweld the connection.
you may want to call the header supplier and see if another header is available for your car.
the egr tube position is ok. the problem is with the air injection tube. the fitting for the tube is located on the drivers side of the header(this is the correct side for the air injection tube fitting -just the wrong position on the header tube) and interferes with the steering shaft coupler. the upper part of the coupler (upper coupler pinch bolt head) hits the air injection tube fitting when ever the steering is turned. this problem is even worse when the engine is torqued in any forward gear.

Could anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

maybe its a fluke header and needs to be replaced. i fit my HS header when i was NA with no problems.. just a bit of finagling.

Take pics and post them. Honestly though, the EGR and AIV are all fucking useless.. you're installing a header, why do you need that crap? Its not like you're trying to pass smog, and if you are you ARENT going to be able to do that with a shiny header in your engine bay. Ditch the AIV.. Ditch the EGR..
