lost bolt at base of dipstick... ok ?

damn it. i lost the bolt to the block that goes to a coolant line (from turbo)

it fell down at the base of the dip stick. i cant get it either.. cant even feel it and there is no way it will drop. will it damage anything if i start it?

and where can i get some new ones? i cant find them anywhere in town. :12dunno

Jack up your car and reach from below. As for getting a new bolt, doesn't your city have a hardware store or are you that far out in the sticks?

Why not get one of those telescoping magnets? Can't remember the "official name"... it's the size of a pen with a magnet on the end, opens up like a radio antenna... shouldn't that work?
